Awesome phone!

This phone is compact...light weight and very user friendly!

It calls people and connects to the internet on its own while it's in my pocket or purse. This is embarrassing and costly. I get charged for those minutes/mb and it annoys my friends and family who get calls from me while the phone is in my pocket. Less

Pro: cute looking, small, slides, full keyboard Con: image quality is bad, doesn't take video, bad service, the screen looks weird, can't hear people talking Using experience: 2 months Good phone? Yeah maybe for the first few months you have it. Then it starts going haywire. Wherever I go, I don't get any service. I have to walk around holding my phone up in the air looking like a retard just to get 1 bar. And every once in a blue moon when I actually do have service, and someone calls me, the phone needs to be put on speaker for me to hear them. If its not on speaker its dead silent. And to get service you have to place your phone in a certain position where it gets bars, then after a while your wondering why your not getting any texts, and that's because all of a sudden there's no service again. What happens when your in an emergency situation and you need help? Its not like you can call someone to help you.. chances are you won't have service! Save your money and get a phone that actually works. Less

This phone is great. It has a great keyboard (for those to whom this is important). The camera (again for those who care) is superb. The battery lasts forever and the phone is tough. It is not a camera nor is it a computer so anyone down-rating this phone because it doesn't reach their typing or photography desires is buying the wrong tools. This phone does everything it does, as well as any phone on the market plus it looks great and has a small footprint. Less

I got this phone because my previous phone had died and Verizon was phasing it out - they didn't even carry replacement batteries for it any more. The Blitz is a great phone if you are simply looking to make calls and text. It survived my first year of college with no incidents, save for a small scratch on the bottom where it fell out of my pocket while I was biking. And yes, if you don't reset the shortcuts on the center rocker, it will try to connect to the internet and do all sorts of strange and unwanted things, but resetting the shortcuts is easy enough. I have had my Blitz for an entire year. I have had NO trouble whatsoever with it. It has survived my first year of college and been dropped onto concrete too many times to count. I have literally dropped this phone eight feet onto the ground and it still works without any problems. Maybe it's just a miracle. I love the keyboard and the shape, and I really don't have any complaints. I've depended on this phone to be my alarm, flash light, and communication device. I highly recommend this phone. Less

No battery life for this banana:

I've had it for maybe 4 months, and the puny battery is already worn out, barely holds a charge for one day, now I'll need a new battery or a new phone. If you need to dial by hand, the buttons are too small. Overall, it's very annoying. I recommend against it, will be replacing mine already. Less

This phone has a mind of its own. Since you use the ok button to unlock the phone, and it is the one that sticks out the furthest, the phone constantly gets unlocked in your pocket and does all kinds of the you don't want it to do. For a texting phone the path to start a new text message takes a lot of steps. I'm on my second one, the first one the call button stopped working and the ear speaker would only work if the phone was slid open part way. The new one has been working but not sure how long it will last. Less

You turn it on and then within seconds, it's dead again. Verizon won't seem to do anything except give me another POS phone to try for another month. It's a 2 year contract and the manufacture gives a 1 year warranty..... that leaves me paying for a year without a phone once the warranty runs out. Yep, thats good business VERIZON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
