I HATE MY RAZR! But for the record, it came as a free phone with my cell plan. For the first 6 months or so, it worked fine. Not too many complaints. The photo quality is mediocre at best, but I mostly use my phone as a phone and not as a camera or MP3 or whatever. However, after the "honeymoon period" this phone has become my nemesis! It randomly freezes on me for no reason. It drops calls when I am in an area with full coverage. But my biggest beef ... the battery. After 1 year, I had to buy a replacement battery because I could not talk for more than 3 mins if I was unplugged from the wall. Once I had a new battery, my phone remained charged again, so I thought that battery in particular was a "lemon". Now, after a few months, I am back to not being able to talk on my phone unless it is plugged into the wall. As soon as I receive an imcoming call, I have to run to my charger or else the battery will drain. My husband bought a RAZR and he had to replace the battery after 1 month because it wouldn't hold a charge either. So I am pretty sure it is some sort of manufactures defect. Less

How I Loved Thee, Untill Thee Turned To Crap.

I loved this phone when I first got it...I mean, who would not love their very first cell phone, especially when the phone is at the height of usage? At first, it was great; the call quality may have been iffy, but ok, we can deal with that. The texting was alright, and I rarley dropped it. Three years later, I am NOT impressed with it whatsoever. The batterylife is very poor. The pictures are not that great. The videos only last 10 seconds. There is very little memory. I am baffled by the fact that it loves to turn on and off randomly, and not send or recieve texts randomly. I am so ready for a new phone, and have to say that i am very glad this phone has now been dicontinued...it really has not lived up to the hype that it once got. Less

Works for me. :)

This phone was chosen for me by my all knowing hubby 3 years back. This phone was chosen for me by my all knowing hubby 3 years back. He thought I would like the fact that it is thin, fits pretty much anywhere and *ahem* it was pink, Not that I am a huge fan of pink, but it is a do-able pink - even for me. 3 years later and I have only 2 complaints: The battery life. after about a year and a half there was a rather sharp decine in the battery life. I am not a hard core cell phone user, considering I only clocked about 12 hours of cell use in its lifetime.. yet the battery still turned to crap. My sister in law gave me a new battery from hers ( she purchased a new phone after buying a new battery for her V3C) and after that, no problems.. I get about 5 days or so out of it before I need to charge. Back in August, I got a dreaded white screen of death on it. Could not do a damned thing with it and I truly thought it was toast. After removing the battery about 10 times and restarting the phone, it suddenly saw the light and all was back to normal. No loss of information, contacts, pictures or text messages. Easy to use, easy ( for me) to text with, and pretty decent sound. pictures and videos are what you would expect for a cell phone, if you want good pictures go buy a decent digital camera. Fairly durable to, my kids have used this phone, it has been dropped on numerous occasions, sometimes the battery cover popping off, and there is barely a scratch on it. I may even find myself missing it when I buy a new phone ( which will be this week) but I will certainly keep it as a back up in case the new rig has problems. Less

Took a lickin and kept on tickin

Had this phone for 2 yrs, no problems exept it started hanging up on calls when I flipped it open. Dropped it several times and is still going strong.

This phone was meh, most people's review's are bullshit.

Okay so i had the razor for about 3 years aprox. I was a crazy texter and i think it worked fine. The battery was okay but i dropped the phone BILLIONS of times and nothing happened. Also let me quote * THIS PHONE ALWAYS LOCKS UP ON ME, IT FREEZES* Wtf you guys are on crack, in my whole experience w/ razor it has NEVER EVER locked up on me.

This is my very first phone, ive had it for 3 years and for about a year maybe less it works ok and dosn't break, but after a year it gets really bad and must be replaced. The good: this phone can be droped without anything happening to it, although if you drop it too much the cover for the battery will fall and your battery will come out. which can lead to some problems. some problems are there when you already get the phone new..like the video camra (read for more info) also it has alot of ringtones the battery is so-so The bad: this phone dosn't last. after about a year the screen will completly die but you will still reseave calls and you can call people too. the phone is flat which is good, but the volume button is on the outside so if you sit,run ect. you phone will beep and ring the video cam is CARP! you can start takeing videos but it will stop recording after about 1 min, tops. the photo camera is ok..not very good quality though so many pics will come blurry and fuzzy i don't recomend this phone to people who like to text, it's not a good phone for that because the texting cuality is NOTHING compared to the new phones. also the call quailty is muffled and you can really hear the static, when i call people or if they call me i have to go outside to hear them clearly. ive had this phone for 3 years and my screen is dead, the outside is chiped, i can barley text or call. i hate my phone Less

I've been using this phone for almost two years under Virgin Mobile. Here is what I've noticed: Pros: - Slim, a definite plus if you carry it around in your pocket - Sound quality is good - Very durable Cons: - Poor reception - After two years my battery only lasts about 7 - 8 hours - All the features are disabled! (can't download custom ring tones, wallpapers, games; can't upload videos, pictures or voice recordings to computer) - Not a lot of room for text messages. Disabled features also means you can't delete any useless stuff they put on your phone (ie. stupid ring tones, wallpapers, screen savers - which there is an abundance of) to make room for texts - Keypad light tends to turn off by itself as you're typing - Camera and video quality is nothing impressive Conclusion: This phone may not be for everyone. Although it doesn't have a million features you can play with, and you can't really make it your own (ie. personalize it), it is perfect for carrying around in your pocket and is built like a brick. If you're a minimalist, this may be your phone. Otherwise, look away! Less

I had two motorola v3c on the past 4 years and no one here can say that this is a BAD phone. Here is my point of view for the v3c: Pros: Battery life is long enough at the beginning, after one or two years, you ll need to charge it every day. Stucture of the phone is resistant to falls. Very good maniability, easy to text. I have big fingers and there is enough space to write without touching other buttons. Simple configuration, no problem searching how does something works: it's obvious. Cons: Watch out for water, humidity, spits and any kind of form that can take H2O: the motorola v3c is allergic to it. Reception will get worse and some contacts on the buttons will lose their sensibility...if they dont just stop to work. Cam is ok...for some pictures attached to your contacts No damn SIM card on it. If you want to transfer all your contacts ffrom your previous cellphone, you'll have to do it manually. A lot of white screens...meaning that you got to close the flip and re-open it....losing your sms or what you were doing. overall review: The v3c is a good short term phone unless you take care of it like a baby, it can last longer. I recommend it for teens or young adults that are not text fannatics, but relativly active. Great contacts capacity. Slim design. Have fun Less
