WIRED: Handy sliding unlock button. Loud, clear speakerphone. Smart upgrades (like a relocated speakerphone key). V Cast music and video access.

TIRED: Chubby (0.7-inch). Three-hour talk time. BYO memory card and USB cable. It's a fingerprint magnet.

It's durable for the most part, I played football with it a few times, it still lived :p But I have to say there is alot better out there, the buttons could be better, same with the camera. This phone is very easy to use, but the touch sensitive keys do get annoying. I was 12 when I had this phone. Yes I know " who needs a cellphone at 12? " Now i'm nearly 15 and I have the Blackberry Curve, which I may say is much better then the chocolate. I miss my chocolate the slightest bit because it doesn't freeze as much as the blackberry does. But I do not miss having a fried battery, or going through 3 different phone chargers. I reccommend this phone to young teenagers, or preteens if they must have a cellphone. Less

I just got this phone on ebay. I needed a replacement phone but didn't want to get another one through verizon and extend my contract for 2 years. I also didn't really want to get a data phone since I don't really need all those extra features and I especially didn't want to pay the extra data plan fee. Instead I was looking for a stylish phone that was still small enough to fit into my jeans pocket and the LG Chocolate fit the bill. It has a very modern look to it and I love the scroll wheel and the vibrating touch buttons on the front plate. It comes with an mp3 player that allows you to buy new songs online or sync songs from your pc. The only thing I didn't like about the mp3 player is that it doesn't allow you to hook it up to your car stereo. I don't really like to use earphones when I'm driving so that was a bit disappointing. The LG Chocolate has a very basic 1.3mp camera which is not impressive at all but can be used for the occasional snap shot. The calling quality has been solid and I'm very happy with my purchase. When i go to delete my texts it wont allow me to so i have to turn the phone off and turn it back on and then delete my messages. When you spin the spinner its like it never makes a connection and does scroll through my apps etc. I would never insist on anyone buying this phone because it will just crap out on you. Less

Best phone, EVER.

I absolutely love this phone the longer I own it. It's amazing and I don't think I've really appreciated enough until I started comparing it to other phones. It's the perfect size and weight, there's picture messaging, a great quality camera, it works pretty quick. It's easy to use and the buttons are straight-forward. Texting is a breeze with this phone, and much much more! This phone is pretty much perfect in my eyes except for a few minor things, like the camera shutter sound is pretty loud, and you can't get rid of it. And the only other problem is that it doesn't really seem to last more than two years. My friend's whom I know have/had this phone all have had to change and get a new one within two years. However I've had my phone for a little over two years and it's fine for me. There's been some ups and downs but at the moment it's working fine. I definitely think this phone is worth getting :) Less

great phone

My phone is closing in on the end of its life, ive had it almost two years and it has been probably the best phone ive owned (and ive owned more than i like to admit lol). Picture quailty is amazing as well as durability and sound quality would recommend this phone to anyone.

Very durable

I've had this phone for two years and the quality is still there.(minus the cover which is quite scratched) last winter i lost the phone and I found it three weeks later on my lawn after the snow had melted. I was amazed. The durability of this phone unbelievable.

At first i wasn't really convinced about buying this phone and for a while i regretted it because it seemed that right after i bought it, more and more cool new phones came out. I really like the navigation wheel and i think the touch keys work perfectly. Also this phone is extremely durable as i have a baby niece who plays with my phone all the time and she has dropped it many times; fortunately it still works perfectly. The battery works great and the pictures and videos come out extremely clear. Also the sound is great. Unfortunately the sound of the camera does not turn off and it gets scratched up extremely easily. Overall I think that this phone is great, but i would recommend keeping it in a case at all time. I finally replaced the battery for about ninety bucks. it gets stuck on speakerphone randomly the colour is wearing off the phone and the wheel, the wheel is getting stiff and lately all my pics are showing up as question marks and it won't let me see them. my brother has the same phone with pretty much the same problems. i like the green and black menus and the light around the wheel and the camera is good but can be pretty slow sometimes and i wish you could turn the sound off on the camera.
