Still one of the best Windows tablets available

from Notebookcheck

Microsoft’s 2018 Surface Pro is still one of the best Windows tablets available: excellent quality, excellent display, good cameras, enjoyable input devices (even though Type Cover and Pen are optional and have to be purchased separately), and a very good microphone. However, it is still not the best of its class in every single category.

Laptop-like performance

from Notebookcheck

The Surface Pro 6 finally delivers on Microsoft’s promise of creating a tablet with laptop performance. The design remains identical though, and Microsoft’s continued refusal to adopt USB Type-C remains frustrating.

Still one of the best Windows tablets around

from Tech Advisor

With an upgrade to the latest 8th-gen Intel processors, all Surface Pro 6 models get a decent performance boost but it’s hard to find any other changes from the previous two generations. That’s not a bad thing – unless you need a USB-C port – and it’s still a good buy if you’re after a Windows 10 tablet that also works as a laptop.

A capable machine for a great price, but it's missing a single feature that's a deal breaker

from Business Insider

Unfortunately, I do not recommend the Surface Pro 6, and it's all because of the lack of USB-C/Thunderbolt 3. If you truly, truly don't care, then sure, the Surface Pro 6 is a great, capable machine. Just don't complain if you ever want to get a USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 accessory down the line.

Microsoft’s Surface Pro 6 is faster, longer lasting and now comes in a sleek, new black shell but … that’s about it. This is no doubt a better product than last year, but it might not be the generational leap some were hoping for. If you already own a Surface Pro 2017, this upgrade isn’t worth the cost. Otherwise, it’s the best Windows tablet money can buy.

Class-leader isn't without quirks

from Pocket-lint

The sixth-gen Pro is the best to date thanks largely to improved battery life. However, the familiar form factor, bezels that are larger than competitors' equivalents, and lack of USB-C port feels like this Surface is holding back from what's around the corner.

Hybrid sequel is just as good – and pricey – as ever

from Expert Reviews

For those in search of a 2-in-1 laptop that’s both stylish and speedy, the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a safe bet. It’s darn pricey, though, and the fact that it doesn’t come with a Type Cover bundled in is nothing short of a travesty.
