The Redmi Note 7 is a decent phone and is obviously the least expensive phone to feature a 48MP camera. It has got a solid build, good battery life, and a decent processor. However, with a dull display, gimmicky 48MP camera and UI polluted with Ads has made the device less desirable.

You get a powerful processor, an impressive camera for the price and a really solid battery life. The big downside here is called MIUI we don’t even take issue with its looks, but more so with the broken notifications that are a dealbreaker. Despite everything great going on with it, we can’t recommend the Redmi Note 7 for this one reason. If you don’t mind unlocking your phone and swiping that notification shade every single time to check your notifications, chances are that the Redmi Note 7 will not disappoint.

A great value for money

from India Today

One of the best bits about the Redmi Note 7 is its back camera performance and the all-glass design. The battery life too is impressive. The display is fair for the price, but it could have been better and performance is something I feel Xiaomi need to fine-tune a bit because the hardware is surely there.

If you’re in the market looking for a smartphone with great design, performance and battery life for Rs. 10k, then Redmi Note 7 is the smartphone to go for. Without any doubt, Redmi Note 7 is the most powerful smartphone available for 10k, it may not seem as VFM as the Redmi Note 7 Pro, but it is definitely a great buy for the the price.

The Note 7 has a clear advantage over the P20 Lite. It outdoes it not only in terms of raw performance, but in other areas such as Wi-Fi performance and running times as well. The Qualcomm competition is fairly evenly matched. At between 200 Euros and 250 Euros (~$227 - ~$284) depending on the storage configuration, the prices are similar to those of the Note 7. Due to this, the choice comes down to details such as extra features and aesthetics, although not one of the three other candidates is able to rival the Note in terms of camera resolution.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro has a lot working in its favour. With its eye-catching design, smooth performance, impressive cameras and long battery life, it has all the makings of a solid smartphone. Add to that a highly competitive price point, and Xiaomi has another champion on its hands.

This phone has a lot of positives. The design has improved drastically and so has the camera. The performance is smooth, and the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a big battery. The negatives were the device heating up while gaming, the user interface being heavily customised, which leaves out some key Android Pie features. The selfie camera could also be better. For its price, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is a complete package, with very little flaws.
