Great simple flip phone!!!

I've had a Z520a for almost 4 years now and it's been very good for me. It's a basic flip phone with not much bells and whistles but it does the job. I've had it on bicycles, running, working in the yard and it takes a lot of abuse. I like the wrap around antana which helps to grab the phone out of my belt case. I've managed to run it for so long by purchasing a couple of extra batteries and the only reason I want to change is because I want a QWERTY keyboard to text. The only negative I would say is the small screen on the outside on which you can't see much. Less

It's very durable; I've dropped it countless times and its in perfect shape! Cons: It takes a million pictures of the inside of my purse! Since the button is on the side of the phone, the camera is activated easily. I don't use my cell for photos though, so this isn't that big a deal for me except for the constant clicking sound. It does occasionally freeze, but this is an electronic item, they do that! Overall, great phone. if you're looking for a simple-to-use, durable phone with a good battery life, this is it! Less

My Second Review

What everyone says about the screen is true. It's a major issue with these phones. The phone has a lot of great features, especially for being one that comes with a plan, but the screen will go out. What everyone says about the screen is true. It's a major issue with these phones. The phone has a lot of great features, especially for being one that comes with a plan, but the screen will go out. I'm on my fifth phone, and right now I'm really wishing I had thought ahead to the inevitable outcome, and put up a visual manual on YouTube: "How to Blindly Navigate Your Z525a" Otherwise, I really like the phone. The PTT button on the side is pretty annoying, but I had the model back when it was a camera button, and I'll take the PTT over hundreds of black pictures of my pocket any day.(The other review I wrote was back in Feb. 2007) Less

One of the best I've owned.

While it lasted this phone was great, tons of features, cool games, and a long battery life. I must have dropped this phone and smashed it to pieces a dozen times while running for busses and what not and it still kept going for me. I would buy another one in a second.

Terrible Phone for the Money

I opted for this phone over the Razr in May of 2006, because I thought the Razr was over-hyped. To my dismay, I wish I would have gotten a razr. I am extremely careful with my phones and I've never dropped it until a couple weeks ago. Regardless, this phone started giving me trouble after having it for only 2 months. I live in an AT&T coverare area, yet it frequently drops calls or I couldn't connect to the person I was calling. The biggest problem I had was that it would constantly freeze and I'd have to take out the battery to reset the phone. Additionally, for those concerned with pictures, the quality of pictures on this phone are terrible. I did, however, like the bluetooth capabilities with the phone, as well as the arm support that the intenna provided. All in all, I would not recommend this phone to anyone at all - the Razr, although over-hyped, is much better quality. Less

not a great phone!

Pro: very attractive good looking Cons: Cheap on drop (drop 2 times and it's gone) opening mecanism seems very cheap and get loose fast. get white screen often and seems like the phone is hard to operate it's self. great finish on phone but very bad electronics/performance quality

Good while it lasted...

I liked this phone. It had decent signal reception, nice display and felt good in your hand. Unfortunately the screen burned out after about eight months. The guy at the store told me it was the cold weather(?). Nice phone, but mine broke.

Terrible

I'm not even sure how many of these phones i've been through because my screen keeps going white. This is probably the worse phone ever made.
