The unassuming M1 is definitely a workhorse. Starting with its on-board 1GB of memory, Bluetooth capabilities, and 2 megapixel auto-focus camera, to name a few, the M1 is capable of offering and delivering a serious multimedia bang. Sprint's EV-DO data network helps deliver some great music and video services. This phone is an excellent option for both audio and video fans alike. I give it a "Recommended" rating.

I am picky about phones. I have sold them for many years, and I am cost conscious, so I am always looking for the most features available for the least amount of money. I reviewed many phones before I purchased this one, and even though this phone has been discontinued, I decided to go with it. I made the right choice. First of all, if you have Sprint, Sanyo is the phone with the best reception, hands down. The picture on the screen is the most clear picture, it is amazing!! The 1 gig of internal memory is almost unheard of, the sound of music coming from the phone is amazing, I could go on and on! I haven't even begun to max out the memory in this phone, and I use it to the fullest extent. I absolutely love it!! I am so happy with this purchase. If you are looking at this phone, you won't be disappointed. I assure you it will be one of the best investments you have ever made. Less

I love this phone!!!! I can load my Music and it holds a lot of music I have about 50 songs and it's not even half full. It takes pictures which are really good. The speakers on it are very loud. It's very easy to use. And even my teenage daughter thought it was cool. It was a little difficult to find the music once I loaded it ( loading was easy, I just plugged it into the computer) but finding where it was stored took a few days, but there are great resources on the internet and now it works great. The player on the front works just like a MP3 player, I can listen to my music and take my calls, If I want to. I love this phone.... and I'm thinking about getting another one for when I wear this one out. I looked every where for this phone and Ebay was the only place I could find it, It has every thing in one great package. Less

Those people who are complaining about dropped calls, perhaps they live in a rural area or something. I've owned the phone now for a few days and I've never had a problem. Greatest thing about this phone is that after a long day a work, I want to come home and relax, but one of my daughters is watching some silly Lifetime movie. No problem, I can watch the NFL network right on my phone, or other channels. The download speeds on this phone are AMAZING, and with 1GB for storage, you can download about 16 hours worth of music. It's great to also be able to send a video message to somebody, and also assign a video ringer. Also if you are smart enough, there is a way to put your mp3 files from your PC to your phone. The screen resolution is the BEST by far on any sprint phone. The speaker is great because it has two speakers instead of just one, and it comes with headphones. This is the best phone you can get! LOVE this phone

I bought this phone brand new in March and I couldn't be happier. I don't have any dropped calls, which isn't a phone issue anyway, that would be a service issue. I bought this phone brand new in March and I couldn't be happier. I don't have any dropped calls, which isn't a phone issue anyway, that would be a service issue. However, like I said no dropped calls, I have about 200 songs in it now, the battery life is great, too. I listen to my music on this phone for literally hours at a time and still have sufficient battery for talking and games or TV, or texts,or whatever. This is the most $$ I ever spent on a cell phone and I am ecstatic. The camera takes fabulous pictures, and you can record up to 2 hours on the video, which is awesome! I love the flash with the camera, I took pictures by the beach at night with minimal light and the flash was enough to get a picture. I can't say enough about this phone!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I have been with Sprint for about 6 years, this is about my 5th phone because I am so fickle and couldn't find one just right, well, this one will be in my hands for a LOOOOOONG time. Less

Got this phone about 30 days ago and love it. It's very quick to respond, the speakerphone is very loud and clear (first time I've experienced that in a cell phone), the internet and music player are easy to use and the contact management is good. The camera also has auto focus and takes pretty good pictures that print clearly onto a 4"x6" photo. Voice dialing works great. Another nice feature is that you can save favorite settings, etc. for the camera and quickly get to them (such as "night" or "flash on always"). I've dropped it once and didn't find any scratches. I've since gotten a case for it just in case. All in all, a very good phone. Less

I love the fact that it has so many features for you to take advantage of. It has a large 1GIG of internal memory, it can hold tons of your own songs, or any that you download from Sprint. Text messaging is easy and and innovative with a feature that allows you to save words that aren't already in the T9 system. It has an excellent On Demand system that quickly accesses the Weather, News, Sports, and Movie listings. All of it can be customized to your local area. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the difficulty I had figuring out how to use the front play/pause/seek buttons with music I had put on there from my computer. There are no clear instructions on how to do it, but with some playing around you can figure it out. Other than that this phone is great, enough features to keep it up to date for years to come but not so much that you'll have stuff that you never use. Less
