i bought this phone initially because i figured the camera was alright on it (i'm not sure why that was my focus at the time i bought it, but it was), and i regret ever buying it. i can't stand it at all; i can't wait to get it paid off so i can trash it ASAP. there's an annoying little banner on the screen that you can't get rid of no matter how deep you dig into your personalization settings, it lacks good features and its graphics are less than pleasant. it doesn't auto-delete text messages in your inbox, and texting, to me, is a hassle. to delete a full inbox takes about 5 good minutes, rather than the 10 seconds it took on my previous phone. i dread using it every day, sometimes i'd rather go without a phone at all than have to tow this embarrassment around with me. never, ever, EVER spend your money on this waste of plastic. This phone is also known as the Samsung Elevate, which was launched on Telus. For a phone that is advertised to be a texting and social phone, I find that it is lacking horribly in the area. The text messaging options on this phone are years behind. For one, the messages in your inbox cannot be sent to auto delete, which is a pain in the a$$. I had a phone six years ago that could do that without the stupid warnings and reminders. Secondly, it isn't just the messaging options that are short in supply, but the phone options overall are just lacking in so many areas. The fact that you cannot even modify what the navigation keys point to is a pain. Especially since it makes it so that two of the keys do the same thing, no matter what, I find this a poor use of settings. The battery life is good. It can last me a day (on very heavy use), with pleanty of battery life to spare. They keypad seems a little small, but gets a little easier as time goes on. I got used to the keypad within a couple of days. I gave this phone a 10 in design and a 5 in performance and features. Overall, I found it a little sad that my Nokia had more customizable options, which Nokia has never really been strong in. Overall, the message deleting will get annoying for anyone who texts quite a bit, but it's a good phone otherwise... Less
