Not a scratch or mark on it. Haven't used it for bait while fishing yet, but hope if it does get wet it stands up to the specs that it says. The Bluetooth reception is really good, better then anything Motorola has. MP3 player works great once you figure out how to use it. Less

Stay away from Samsung! I've had the rugby for 2 months and it sucks - drops calls, shuts off on it's own, dropped the voicemail service. A friend told me that him and his wife both had trouble with samsung phones so went back to good old Motorola.

Not so good

Use the phone alot..5000-8000minutes a month and have had it for 3 months. So far the construction of it is excellent but, I have to charge it twice a day, I can't get 3hours of talk time out of it between charges. The phone also gets poor reception. Use the phone alot..5000-8000minutes a month and have had it for 3 months. So far the construction of it is excellent but, I have to charge it twice a day, I can't get 3hours of talk time out of it between charges. The phone also gets poor reception. When I travel to the cottage I have to switch to my motorola to get signal. Other people that are with me with different brands of phones also recieve signal, but not the rugby, I had to travel for 45km before it picked up a signal. The worst part is the bluetooth. My girlfriend also has the rugby and most fo our time talking is while driving. The faster you go the harder it is to hear. If I'm doing 100km/hr, the road noise creates so much static and interference that it cuts out the other person. Tried 3 different bluetooths and all the same. All 3 worked great with the motorola and with my samsung that I had through Bell. Has to be the phone. Less

USELESS PHONE

I'VE HAD THIS PHONE FOR 8 MONTHS. SOUND QUALITY IS AVERAGE TO POOR. 50% OF THE TIME THE DISCONNECT BUTTON DOES NOT WORK. TO TURN IT OFF YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE BATTERY. I'M SORRY I PURCHASED THIS PHONE

YEP THE A836 CELL IS A GREAT PHONE ..........

I work at the airport and I'm in all weather conditions and the A836 has not let me down and I have to say it's a good phone to buy....

TOUGH PHONE

Lost it one day. drilled it at the wall in a fit of rage and I me hard. did not think it would make it.. bounced off and works fine. good stress relief. not so angry george.

Great Phone

I have had this phone for about 4 months, Tha battery last a very long time, I have droped my phone numerous times, twice in the water, still working fine, when driving the sound is great, seems to block other noise. Best phone I ever had, and I have had lots.

Still pretty good phone!

First of all-YES there is a calculater on it! Use it all of the time. Even have it in my shortcuts menu. You'll find it under tools. Any way, still a good phone. Not totaly in love with it. Just needed a new phone. I find the battery is really great. It will drop to two bars on the meter, then...More

Just needed a new phone. I find the battery is really great. It will drop to two bars on the meter, then stay there for two days. sound quality is great. The menu system is a little funky, but, again, don't really care, just use it manly as a phone. I don't think there is a perfect phone out there, some are better than others. This one is not too bad, certainly not the worst! (razer-1st gen.) Less

painted!

So after getting the Rugby and charging it overnight, i took it to work. So after getting the Rugby and charging it overnight, i took it to work. Im a contracter and needed a cell that would hold up its end.... so after it sliped from my sholder craddle and fell into a paint tray, i didn't really panic to much. Just sprinted to an eye wash station and rinsed it off franticly. When i was sure there was no more paint on or around the ear piece i resumed my conversation. This is a tought FCUKING PHONE!!! Other than that, ive noticed there is no calculater, and you have to hold the outer buttons down for approx 3 sec to get the display to light up when the phone is closed to check the time. Less
