The Nokia 6350 is a great phone for a wide spectrum of users. It’s not a smartphone with all of the industry’s most news worthy functions but it doesn’t pretend to be. Still, it does offer capabilities that are more than adequate for most cell phone users and is an excellent bargain.

Nokia 6350 worst phone ever

I have owned many phones and they have all been LG or Samsung or Motorola. I asked my local bell mobility retailer for the ideal entry phone for me as a mechanic and farmer and they sold me this. The back cover started self ejecting after 3 days and would no longer stay in place after 3 weeks- Bell dealer said it would have to sent away but i could rent there loaner for 180$ while my phone was away, I declined the repair and used poly urathane glue carefully (it expands) and the cover stayed on till 18month. this phone gives you a text telling you there is a phone message as they are received what a pain, bell dealer said "hum that is a stupid feature" real bright aren't they. buttons don't lock out and pocket photos are regularly take and sent to last text recipient. tried to update with the assistance of Nokia and nothing changed. side buttons and media player buttons never lock to prevent pocket use by accident. external speaker died at month 17 and that was the end for Nokia products for me. I have a Samsung on order and this one will end in a beautiful death. Thank you Nokia for selling first time buyers of your product a prime example of what to expect from your company. never a nokia for me again. Less

I agree that 6350 is the worst phen ever. the paint chips, the pictures suck, the battery cove falls off, and it is of no use.

I hate this phone, could not get one that would keep working.

The phone would turn off by itself every few days ,then it would not turn on at all. Sent for repair and after a few weeks it started turning off by itself. Sent for repair and received a new one back. It would not turn on within hours of receiving it.

Battery Life

What stinking flip phone can't stay on for more than 2 days of no real use. The Nokia 6350. Don't get this flip phone is you want something that is durable, or has features. This thing bugs the crap out of me daily, that is when it works...

This is the worst cell phone that I have ever owned.

This is the worst cell phone that I have ever owned. It was the replacement from A T & T insurance for the Razr that I dropped and broke. That is like saying that a pinto is a replacement for a Ferrari because they both are cars. The ring tones are horrible, as is the voice dial voice. The voice is...More
This is the worst cell phone that I have ever owned. It was the replacement from A T & T insurance for the Razr that I dropped and broke. That is like saying that a pinto is a replacement for a Ferrari because they both are cars. The ring tones are horrible, as is the voice dial voice. The voice is so bad that I cannot even understand who it is calling. I cannot even understand it when it says the word H-O-M-E. There is no way to assign special tones to individuals, thereby knowing who is calling without looking. About all that it does do is make phone calls. So if you just want a regular phone and not a cell phone, this is the phone for you! Less

Replacement ('like new' they said...read 'refurbished') provided by Nokia repair centre Flextronics lasted a few weeks. 3rd one sent by Flextronics couldn't even be turned on by Bell Mobility when they rec'd it. They tried 3 different new batteries ! I'm still waiting for resolution. Nokia Canada woke up when I copied them on a letter of complaint I sent to the city newspaper. Nokia recommend I accept a less expensive phone from them, the Nokia 7230 ! Bell Mobility has refused to cancel my 3-year contract tied to phone I paid for and the use of which I've not got. I do not/not recommend this phone !! Less

So great.

When I first got my phone about a month ago I hated it. I couldn't figure out how to use it and the text system aggravated me. That was going from an LG Chocolate to a Nokia 6350. Now...I LOVE THIS PHONE. The bluetooth is great [especially if you have a mac] to transfer pictures, music, and ringtones. I do advise putting a key lock on it if you keep it in your pocket. Before I put the lock on, I would do something and then the phone would start voice dialing. I appreciated that to turn the music player off you had to hold the END key. I found it funny reading a review that said they couldn't figure out how to turn their music player off. I figured it out without looking at instructions, the first day I got it. Camera quality is the best i've seen, and the sound quality is great! The volume is efficient, I even use it as an alarm clock, and I'm a very heavy sleeper. If you are like me and don't like QWERTY keyboards or touches and just want a nice simple phone, I definitely recommend this. Less

NOKIA 6459 GOOD AND BAD

LIKE ONE OF THE OTHER REVIEWER4S I WAS UPSET THAT THE NOKIA 635O HAS NO RINGTONE. FORTUNEATELY MY PROVIDER AT&T STEERED ME TO THE INTERNET AND WHERE TO FIND A STANDARD RINGTONE AND THEN TOOK THE COST OFF MY BILL. THE OTHER MAJOR COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THE INABILITY TO DELETE ALL CALLS AT ONCE. IF YOU DONT DELETE DAILY THE BULDUP OF RECORDED CALLS CAN TAKE A LIFETIME TO DELETE ONE AT A TIME. A THIRD COMPLAINT ARE THE BUTTONS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PHONE. I AM CONSTANTLY INITIATING PTT TAKING THE PHONE OUT OF MY BELT HOLDER OR PLACING IT IN THE BUTTON HOLDER. ALSO LIKE ANOTHER REVIEWER I AM UNHAPPY WITH THE MUSIC BUTTON ON THE FRONT. YOU CAN HOWEVER TURN IT OFF BY PUSHING THE RED PHONE SYMBOL. WHEN TALKING TO SOMEONE THE SOUND OF THEIR VOICE MAY WEAKEN AND THEN COME BACK AND THEN WEAKEN AGAIN. BY NOW, YOU MAY WONDER WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT MY NOKIA 6350. IT WAS FREE WITH MY CONTRACT! Less

Nice design.......poor ring tones

For now, I carry the phone in my pocket on vibrate only. I don't think I will own it long. Less

Music player has no stop button!

I actually returned the phone because I couldn't figure out how to turn off the music player (and neither could my teenagers). I actually returned the phone because I couldn't figure out how to turn off the music player (and neither could my teenagers). Maybe my phone was defective, but even in the user manual it didn't say how to stop a song that was playing. I even consulted with tech support, and the best they could suggest was that I can mute or pause the song and then (to prevent it starting up again when the external front button was pressed) set a keypad lock on the phone. I find such a suggestion totally unacceptable. Whoever would design a phone with a music player that you can't turn off??? (Too bad, because I actually liked the feel of the phone...seemed lightweight but well built). I ended up buying an LG Neon like my kids have, and I love it. (Much easier to learn and use, and many more features.) Less

I have been using samsung flip phones for 6 yrs plus. I am not a fan of touch screen. I am impressed with this Nokia so far...I have had it for 2 months now. Nice and slim. I think the ringtone sound level is sufficient...you can download ringtones or upload through micro sd card. It has tons of features.....like 5 phone numbers per contact. Mobile browser is very good...the colours on the main display are awesome (crisp, clear and bright). You can create shortcuts for many features. Battery runs out after about 2 hrs. of talking so need to charge frequently. Comes with a wired handsfree (2.5mm headset) but no car charger (micro usb port). I have had some dropped calls but I think it has to do with the new HSPA network. I would highly recommend this phone for someone who wants a slim flip phone with a lot of features! Less
