Good phone

I've had this phone since 2006 with Fido. I've had other phones since then and used this one as a backup phone. It's not pretty, it's bulky but it still gets the calls and the messages through. A real work horse. I've dropped it many times and it still works like a charm. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as there are newer phones out by now (2010) but if someone gives it to you, take it. voice mail

my phone receive messages but I could not access to the message because I forget my pass code... I could not get help from rogers wireless delaers to cancel the previous code and set up new one.

Great phone

I've had the V190 for 4 years and have had no problems with it. It's simple to use, very basic, several tones, you may block off any ringtone for a number you don't want. Sleek design, easy to use, big enough buttons for fingers. I love it!!!! Only small problem I've experienced in the last few month,...More

I don't know. Less

I'm happy with it

As a basic phone without all the bells and whistles, I am happy with my phone and have had no problems in over 2 years.

Not so great

Not that great

This is the first cell phone which I have owned so basically I am comparing it to a hard wired phone. I use Rogers "Pay as you go" system, which is excellent, and all I needed was the very basics ( talk and answer). The quality of sound is not that great and it sometimes cuts off without any warning. I use Rogers "Pay as you go" system, which is excellent, and all I needed was the very basics ( talk and answer). The quality of sound is not that great and it sometimes cuts off without any warning. I took in for repair but for all the difference it made they could have just filed it in a drawer until they called me to come and pick it up. I would try a different one next time. Less

Like it

It is a really nice phone and very useful. It has everything that some Average Joe would need on a cell phone. It can so much and has a nice interface. Also Rogers doesn't block your MP3 Ring tones and the USB Cable is really easy to find as it is one of the standard ones that you would find on a Digital Camera.

I Love It

from Phonedog
Pro: Better reception than my more expensive LG and Nokia phones. Con: None Using experience: 6 months I have nothing but good things to say about this phone. It is clearly not top of the line, but hey, if you don't know that before you buy, you're not paying attention.

Horrible Phone

Pro: The battery seemed to last long throughout the day. Con: everything else Using experience: 11 months I feel that this phone is a "S*** Piece". In the beginning everything was good, but now it freezes up when ever you are inserting either a text message, or a phone number. The antenna came off because the ridges became stripped, and the phone has now blackened out. I would not recommend this phone to anyone, because of prior experience. Less

i've had this phone for almost a year now well, by now it looks pretty beat up, and the antenna has fallen off. but over the months i've experienced almost no major problems. it is very simple, not really a gadgety phone with tons of features i've used it only for calls and texting and it has lasted quite well. some gripes are that it can only hold 40 inbox test messages which can be annoying and lately (maybe just because i've had it for so long) it makes an annoying sound whenenver i talk on it near anything electric. eg. computer, tv it would make a great replacement phone Less
