Wallet-friendly and with a decent user interface, the KF300 is a good choice for people who struggle with the overblown features and tiny keys on many newer handsets.

Awful experiance

Constantly turns it's self off and battery will not last longer than a couple hours. THIS PHONE STINKS!!!!

Started out great

Started out great but after a year later the battery charge won't even last a day. Very disappointing since my contract is lasting longer than my phone.

14 month life span!

When I bought this phone, Bell accidently sent me two of them. The first one lasted just over a year then completely died. It wouldn't turn on, it would just flash the LG symbol. I tried to look up the problem, got no real answers but read many reviews from people saying they had the same issue. Well I activated the second one and just today (14 months later) the same thing happened! I take amazing care of all my electronic devices so I can guarantee it was nothing I had done to it. Seems fishy that this has happened to many people. Less

interesting, noticing the battery is only lasting 8 hours and thats when its on standby, talk for a bit and it goes down, my nokia lasted a day and a half on overnight charge, WHATS the deal here??

I find this phone great

Have had the basic LG280 for about 3 or 4 years now. I must say that I haven't had one problem with it. The charge lasts for 5-7 days, call quality is great and the phone itself is easy to use. The only downside is that it doesn't have a card slot and you can't download pictures to your pc on the usb, you have to either email them or use bluetooth. Less

Would be perfect if it would stay on

There was not a feature I didn't like on this phone. I had waited many years to trade in my Nokia because I couldn't find a phone with comparable features. This one fit the bill until it started randomly shutting itself off. It doesn't make a sound, no warning, just off. I find myself checking my p...More

This one fit the bill until it started randomly shutting itself off. It doesn't make a sound, no warning, just off. I find myself checking my phone all the time now to make sure it is still on. I'm missing calls. It does it at least once every 48 hours! Totally, and completely, unacceptable. Less

Must be charged 2 times a day at least

The battery is terrible in this phone. I barely use it and it's dead within 4 hours. I like to keep it on me for my long drives back to school in case I have car trouble- I have a really old car- but it never stays charged. VeRy Unreliable. Never Again!

Don't buy this phone! It's Terrible!

3 months after I bought it the phone shut down unexpectedly and kept flashing the LG logo on and off despite taking the battery out, trying to turn off the power, or trying to charge it. I sent it away- i had to pay about $150 (of which i was reimbursed about 2 months later-as a student this was a large amount of money!) I got a loaner phone from Bell- a beat up looking brick that was from the 1990's. I got it back and it had horrible reception. Now, 17 months later, it's doing it again- shutting on and off unexpectedly. I couldn't phone my boyfriend for valentines day or my mother for her birthday, so needless to say- I'm upset. And because the warranty is up apparently, they won't even give me an ancient brick to use in the mean time. (I'm at school 2 hours away from home). Bell wasn't helpful at all. LG Wine is terrible. LG Wine II shuts off unexpectedly

I took my LG Wine phone back to US Cellular complaining that it shut down three times per week and I was tired of missing calls. The young lady there said to try it for another week and come back if the problem persists. It did, and I went back yesterday. The young tech fella there took the little memory card out, saying it could be the problem. (It only had 5 songs on it!) I was hopeful, but it shut down twice the same day he removed the card, so that's not the problem. I've never even dropped this phone! Bad software is my guess. I don't recommend this phone and will steer clear of LG phones in the future. Guess since I still have 6 months left on the one year warrenty I will send it in for repair. Bummer. Less

Camera unusable

Have had for approximately 10 months. Worked very well for first 6 months, now camera doesn't work...at all. You press the camera button, the camera icon appears, and that's it. From that point you can't even turn to phone off or use it..you have to remove the battery to restart it! It sucks

LG Wine common problem

Phone worked great for 14 months, then decided to stop working, much like what I read from everyone else. Main screen will just periodically show the LG logo and shut down. Bell's customer service was horrible (as per usual with every experience I have had with them). I don't recommend this phone, or signing a contract with Bell.

Same problem here. Took it to US Cellular yesterday (2-11-11) and the technician there removed my little memory card, saying it could be the proble. But it shut down twice the SAME DAY after he did that. Guess I'll have to send it in for repair, free since I've got a one year warrenty.
