4.6/10
Informr score
The HTC Fuze currently has an Informr score of 4.6 out of 10. This score is based on our evaluation of 5 sources including reviews from users and the web's most trusted critics.

Building on their powerful, popular line of sleek touch screen devices, HTC has released the Fuze, also known as the GSM variant of the Touch Pro. The HTC Fuze offers a wonderful 2.8” high resolution screen and a beautiful TouchFLO 3D interface which runs on top of the Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 operating system.

This TouchFLO interface is remarkably intuitive, and since it runs on top of the Window’s OS, it simplifies what might be an otherwise cumbersome navigation process. The user can relax and let the TouchFLO interface not only make interacting with the device simple and intuitive, but fun as well! However, the one drawback to the interface is that it can, at times, lag. This is a complaint echoed in some circles.

The HTC Fuze boasts a high-end feature set sure to please. In addition to a 3.2MP camera and video player, you get WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, push email capability, enormous customization options, music player and much more. You also receive a number of useful applications, including WikiMobile, Internet Sharing, Adobe Reader LE and Remote Desktop.

Pros: Great touch interface, powerful apps, fun to use

Cons: Touch interface sometimes hit or miss/lags, YouTube and MSN Messenger must be downloaded.

Verdict: The Fuze competes on an Olympic level with the finest smartphones on the market. Aside from a small concern for the sometimes sluggish UI, this phone can simplify your life and keep you connected better than most of the competition. If you are looking for an all-in-one device that has the horsepower to run the most advanced mobile applications currently available, and do it in a way that is pleasing to the senses, take a look at the HTC Fuze.

The new pro by HTC is a true all-rounder, with multimedia and navigation just part of its ammo, and has every premise of becoming the most complete Windows-powered device to date.

The HTC Fuze from AT&T definitely looks and feels like an extremely high-end device. However, the high-gloss finish makes this smartphone a complete fingerprint magnet, and the glass over the touchscreen can make touching the correct area a bit of a challenge. We were relatively impressed by the...

Some people have really bad phone skills. You'll ask a question and they'll take forever to answer, or they just sit there on the line, making you think the call dropped. (Hello? Hello?) Now imagine a phone that does that. You tap a button and nothing happens. So you hit it again. After the third or...
