I am using a Galaxy S5 with Straight Talk BYOP  $45 plan and SIM on AT&T network. Everything works except voicemail notifications. Staight Talk has reset my voicemail but this did not resolve my issue.  I can call voicemail and get my messages so that part is working, just no notifications that there is voicemail.
