I had my LG G5 less than 6 months and my glass broke, my bf had the same phone and it happened as well. I personally never dropped my phone ever and i fought for the warranty and they covered it for free. Before i went to the phone place i printed off pages from Reddit with people having the same problem, its the phone itself causing the problem.

Hi jennifer. I'm afraid the warranty will not cover that. Damages due to misuse, abuse, and accident are not covered by warranty. But I'd still say that please try claiming warranty. It's worth the shot. I read people paying 40-50 bucks.
