Why do deleted pictures keep coming back on the LG Tribute?

How do I permanently delete pictures off my LG Tribute phone? They keep returning.

I suggest backing up your photos and videos first.

Then try this: Go to Settings ➔ Applications ➔ Manage Applications. Go to All tab. Look for Gallery and tap on Clear data.
