I don't think the issue is caused by the soft case. Just make sure you lock the screen before putting it in your pocket to stop it from pocket dialing. To lock screen, just press and hold the asterisk (*) button. As for the phone getting stuck up, that I think is a different issue. Could be a bug your phone is experiencing. I suggest you have your phone checked.
