guys, Hoping someone a little more technically-minded than I may be able to help out. Recently purchased an Alcatel Idol 3, but it has unfortunately terrible signal - sitting at about -99 to -112 dBm. It isn't, however, my service provider or location - I've taken my sim directly out of my old phone (Alcatel pixi 4.5") which worked perfectly as far as signal goes, and haven't changed location whatsoever. Most texts will send eventually (some take 2-3mins), some websites will load very slowly, some not at all, and there seems to be no hope of picking up GPS. Internet and gps work perfectly while connected to WiFi. Have tried playing around with APN settings, and then restoring them to default. Have tried restarting many many times. Halp. Please. Any advice would be well and truly appreciated.
