Why do I keep running out of space when trying to update my applications on the ZTE Majesty?

Every time there is an update to an app that i have on my phone, i get "unable to update, insufficient space available". So then i have to go into the Settings > Apps > On the Downloaded tab, i usually try to move stuff to the SD card first, if that doesn't free up enough space I "Clear Data" and/or "Clear Cache" to free up space. And that usually helps some. But ,is there no way to just have the phone immediately install/download/save apps to the SD card?

I have a 16 GB micro SD card and there is very little actually on the card except for the stuff I have transferred over there...

PLEASE HELP!!!

The reason you keep running out of space on a zte majesty is because its designed with (1) an insufficient amount of space (2) the OS takes up 1/3rd of that (3) there are no controls as to choose or set limits on the amount of updating data apps can or will update (so as to be able to Manage the available space in the most efficient manner). The only thing you can do is (1) Limit the installed apps to a VERY FEW (2) make sure as many as possible are moved to the external SD card (3) keep ALL text and SMS history CONSTANTLY DELETED (4) often run a good cleaner app (like clean master, etc) (5) fork out $250-600 on a BETTER QUALITY Phone, like the Samsung Galaxy S3, 4, 5...and RECYCLE your POORLY-DESIGNED ZTE Majesty! (9 months experience with a zte majesty). Its got 1/2 the CPU and RAM of a Galaxy S3! I'll be recycling mine very soon. :-)

Updates/Installations from Google Play store requires internal memory space.
Open Settings --> Apps --> under Downloaded, check apps that you can Move to SD card to free up space.
