Yeah, if people want to help, they need to slow down, and understand that the person asking for help doesn't know ANYTHING.  Don't start in the middle.  We need to start at the beginning, even if it seems stupid to you.  We don't know what you know.  Throwing terms at us we don't understand is just being elitist.  We DON'T KNOWN FUCKING ANYTHING.  If you can't come down off of your cloud to help us mortals, then shut the fuck up.

HELP!

I don't THINK I'm stupid, but I have NO idea what you're talking about!

1) No problem

2) What "Home" key?  You mean go to my "Homepage"?  Phone or PC?

3) I have never seen anything called "Connectivity"; the closest thing I know of is called "Connected Devices", or "Network & Internet", neither of which deals with USB ports.

4) I have never seen anything called "USB Selector" or anything close

5) No problem

6)  I have NEVER heard of a "USB Personality"

Your phone has a mini-USB port so you can connect it to a computer to transfer data, or charge your phone.

1. Disconnect the USB cable if it is connected to your phone.
2. Press the Home key.
3. Open Connectivity.
4. Open USB Selector.
5. Connect the cable to your phone and to an available USB port on your computer.
6. Select a USB personality from the list displayed:
Modem - Use your phone as a modem for your computer.
PC Connect - Use your Motorola Original Data Software to transfer data and synchronize contacts, calendar, tasks and email. See the help feature provided with the software for details.
Mass Storage - Access your memory card data using your computer’s “My Computer” feature. source
